The seminar was held for schoolchildren at Mukhuri Beekeeping Base

The local seminar was held for local schoolchildren at the Beekeeping base of Mukhuri of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. The pupils were acquainted with the importance of beekeeping, the biology of the bee family and the science-research activities carried out on the basis of Mukhuri Beekeeping base. The schoolchildren surveyed laboratories of morphological and exterior research and artificial insemination on the base.

Mukhuri Beekeeping Base was opened by the end of 2017. In addition to the maintenance and spread of endemic populations on the base, a mixture of Megrelian populations is being cleaned from the bee.

Seminars on preventive measures against care and breeding of bee families are regularly organized for farmers and interested persons at the base.
