Cooperation with the State of Israel is being deepened in the agrarian direction

Yuval Fuchs, deputy director general of ,,Mashav’’ Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, within the framework of the official visit met with the Director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture – Levan Ujmajuridze. The sides talked about deepening cooperation in the field of agriculture and training of specialists.

"We mainly focus on raising awareness, training and strengthening of the extension program in the regions. We have special programs for farmers, extention specialists and researchers. We will formulate in which direction we can support you" - said Yuval Fuchs.

Within the visit, deputy director general of ,,Mashav’’ Program, together with the experts of gardening, on the demonstrative base of annual crops in Tsilkani, got acquainted with the working process of the plant micro-clone (In vitro) multiplication, virus free planting material and soil fertility laboratories named after professor Ivane Sarishvili.
