Meetings with farmers were held in Racha-Lechkhumi

In Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, meetings were held with farmers within the project "Mobile Extension". The representatives of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and Information-Consultation Centers have provided recommendations for livestock, veterinary, plant protection and bee families in Lentekhi, Ambrolauri, Tsageri and Oni municipalities.

At the meeting with the farmers, specialists focused on the maintenance of bee breeding, arrangement of apiaries, additional food, bee diseases, effective methods of fighting against it and using modern medicinal and prophylactic means. Farmers also got acquainted with types of plant diseases, measures how to fight against them and issues of selecting pesticides.

The meetings with farmers in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region (villages - Shuapkho, Tsilkani, Mukhrani, Tsikhisdziri and Daba Tianeti) will be held in the frames of the Joint Project "Mobile Extension" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture from 12 to 14 November.
