Farmers were consulted in Kvemo Kartli

The representatives of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and Information-Consultation Center consulted 16 residents of the villages of Gardabani, Marneuli, Tsalka, Tetritskaro, Dmanisi and Bolnisi. The specialists informed the farmers about cultivation of potato, cattle and veterinary caring, bee breeding and plant protection.

The joint project "Mobile Extension" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, which promotes the level of consciousness of farmers, has been implemented since 2016. Its purpose is to support the farmers, provide them with consultations on the place and introduce state programs in the agrarian sector.

In 2018, specialists held meetings in 150 villages throughout Georgia, where about 7500 farmers were consulted.
