The bean-taking small mechanization begins adaptation for Mtskheta-Mtianeti region

The Representatives of Agro-Engineering Research Division of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture met with local farmers and engineer-mechanics, supported by the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Division of Information-Consultation Service of Agriculture. The sides talked about the problems of agricultural crops in the region and the level of mechanization in the region.

The farmers were informed about modern technologies of beans, fight against pests and advantages of varieties. At the meeting, along with the Agro-Engineering Research Division, the creation of a small bean taking machine for the beans was decided to adapt to the soil-climate conditions in Mtskheta-Mtianeti. Mtskheta-Mtianeti belongs to the mountainous region, so to work with harvesting machine is impossible and the farmers still need manual work.

The Agro-Engineering Research Division has already developed a small mechanization for bean taking, which has been introduced to farmers. The Parties will develop and create small mechanization adapted to the region for 2 years.
