Mobile Extension in Samegrelo Region

The information was provided for farmers on the plant protection and caring-cultivation of vegetable crops and melon cultures in Martvili, Chkhorostku, Tsalenjikha and Abasha regions. The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the specialists of Information-Consultation Centers consulted the farmers and have visited 10 villages and looked at the plots. The specialists handed out brochures with the purpose of care-cultivation and protection of the perennial and annual crops to the locals and introduced the existing projects in the agricultural sector.

The Meetings in Guria are planned within the framework of joint project "Mobile Extension" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, From February 27 to March 1. The consultations in Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri municipalities (villages - Lesa, Chochkhati, Tkhinvali, Melekeduri, Anaseli, Shua Amagleba, Bukistsikhe) will be provided to the farmers.
