Farmers were trained in modern technologies of grafting of vegetable crops

The specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture have trained farmers, agrarian students and interested persons on modern technologies of grafting of vegetable crops. Participants of the training were acquainted with the international standards and methods of tomato, sweet pepper and eggplant and studied 4 basic methods of practical practice on the example of vegetable crops.

Vegetable grafting is a technology that involves contacting the rootstock and the desired variety / hybrid scion within a family that provides protection against diseases, prolonging vegetation and enhancing productivity.

The new technology of grafting of greenhouse seedlings is the only possible method for cultivation of vegetable crops without chemicals in soil with fusariosis. The disease is a widespread problem that significantly reduces the yield. By introducing innovative technology, farmers will be able to increase productivity.

It should be noted that the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has regularly conducted free training courses for farmers, which includes practical and theoretical training. Those who wish to participate can fill in the application form on the official website of the Center.
