New technology for potato seed multiplication simplifies the production process and reduces costs

In the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and International Potato Center (CIP), the representatives of the In Vitro Laboratory at Tsilkani were trained in "Apical Rooted Seedling Technology for Accelerated Seed Propagation of Potato".

The new technology has been developed by the International Potato Center (CIP) and provides a complete chain of potato seedling production, which simplifies the production process and reduces costs.

The new technology ,,USAID Potato Program in Georgia’’ is implemented together with the International Potato Center (CIP).
