A webinar was held on the pruning and formation of the cherry

The webinar "Progressive technologies of the cherry production: varieties and pruning-formation" was organized by the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. At the webinar, farmers were introduced to new and promising varieties of cherry and different types of the cherry.

The Fruit-growing Research Division, in parallel with finding Georgian fruit varieties, imports, observes and isolates promising varieties. In order to obtain high and regular yields in the Cherry Garden, taking into account local conditions, the Fruit-growing Research Division has developed new technologies of the pruning-formation, which were introduced to farmers within the webinar.
