Field training was held at the Jigaura base for students of the Faculty of Viticulture -Winemaking

In order to attract young people, train them and involve them in the agrarian field, a field training was held for the students of the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking at the experimental base of Jigaura perennial crops. Students heard information about vine varieties, seedling production processes, vineyard agrotechnology and seedling planting rules.

Levan Ujmajuridze, the director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, introduced the future viticulturists to the activities of the center, the existing projects in the field of viticulture and winemaking and the rules of vine formation. Students participated in the vineyard pruning process.
