As part of the formation of a system of varietal traceability, scheduled monitoring was carried out in the farms

    The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Iuri Nozadze, the Director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, Levan Ujmajuridze, and the representatives of the Research Department of Livestock Breeding of the Center visited the farms in the municipalities of Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki, where the breeding animals of restored local breeds formed by the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture are transferred. In the mentioned farms, the employees of the Scientific-Research Center study the growth and development of animals and other scientific biological features. It should be noted that the formation of the system of breed traceability of agricultural animals is underway in the Scientific-Research Center. Breed standards are specified for local domestic animals, birds, fish and beneficial insects, also auditing rules, monitoring implementation guidance documents, journals, forms and acts for zoo-technical and breeding accounting in farms, individual cards of breeding animals, as well as herd and breeding book forms and their production rules.
