The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture participated in the exhibition "Cattle Expo 2022"

The Scientific-Research Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture participated in the annual exhibition "Cattle Expo 2022".

Within the framework of the exhibition, an exhibition-competition of highly productive and local selective cattle was organized, where the winners - the Caucasian Tsabla and Megruli red breed in the Dmanisi breeding station of the Scientific-Research Center - became.

In the exhibition space, visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the field literature and guidebook published by the Center's scientific workers in the direction of animal breeding.

The purpose of the exhibition " Cattle Expo 2022 " is to promote the development of the dairy industry in Georgia - the promotion of highly productive and local selective cattle breeds and the development of the livestock sector.

The partner of the event is the project "Investing in safe and quality livestock farming" funded by the US Department of Agriculture, which is implemented by Land O'Lakes Venture37 in cooperation with the Georgian Farmers' Association.

It is worth noting that "Cattle Expo - 2022" was organized by the Georgian Livestock Breeding Association and the Swiss Agrarian School of Caucasus for the second time in Georgia.
