A scientific-practical seminar was held for fruit-growing farmers in Jighaura

The representatives of the fruit-growing division of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the agronomic service of the Spanish company "Viveros Veroni" held a scientific-practical seminar for farmers and interested persons.

The seminar on the topic "Progressive approaches to pruning and forming of stone crops" was held in the Center's Jighaura fruit collection garden and included modern progressive methods of pruning stone crops (peach, apricot) and issues of conceptual formation of 2 D (flat) garden.

It should be mentioned that within the framework of cooperation, the fruit-growing research division of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the Spanish company "Viveros Veroni" regularly conduct joint trainings and seminars for farmers, the purpose of which is to increase the productivity and sustainability of the fruit-growing sector of Georgia based on promising methods of planting and the introduction of new varieties.
