Students of the University of Göttingen of Germany were in the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture

The head of the Department of Plant Pathology and Crop Protection of the University of Göttingen and the Coordinator of Master's Programs in Crop Protection visited the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture together with 22 students of the University of Göttingen.

Within the framework of the visit, the students met the representatives of the Department of Integrated Plant Protection, viewed and got acquainted with the work and current researches of the laboratory of the Micro-clonal (In-Vitro) Propagation of Plants and Virus-free Planting Material Research division.

Entomologists and phytopathologists also visited the test-demonstration bases of annual crops of Tsilkani and perennial crops of Jighaura, they got acquainted with the history of viticulture and winemaking in Georgia and the ampelographic collection.

The students of Göttingen of Germany have also planned meetings with farms producing different agricultural crops.
