Schoolchildren were trained at Mukhuri Beekeeping Base

At the Mukhuri beekeeping base of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, organized by the Central Library of Zugdidi, training on bee care and breeding was held for schoolchildren. Young people learned about the importance of beekeeping, the biology of bee families and the research activities carried out at the Mukhuri Beekeeping Base. The students of the school visited the morphological and exterior research laboratory at the base.

Mukhuri Beekeeping Base has been operating since 2017. At the base, in addition to the maintenance and propagation of endemic populations, cleaning of the mixed Megruli population is underway. In order to attract, train and involve young personnel in the agricultural field, free seminars and trainings are regularly held.
