Schoolchildren of Newton Free School were given field training at Jighaura Base

David Chichua, head of the Viticulture and Wine-making Research Division of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture showed the ampelographic collection of Jighaura the 10th schoolchildren of Newton Free School the and provided information on grape varieties and their care.

At the Jighaura experimental-demonstration base, students took part in grape picking and got acquainted with grape pressing technologies.

In order to attract, train and involve young personnel in the agricultural field, free seminars and trainings are regularly held at the bases of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.
