Young scientists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture attended a workshop in Germany

In Herrsching, Germany, the 31st international leadership workshop was held for young people employed in the agricultural sector, in which young scientists from the Scientific - Research Center of Agriculture took part.

77 representatives from 46 countries participated in the workshop, whose selection was made on the basis of a competition. This program has been running since 1962 and the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture is actively involved in it.

The aim of the workshop is to share the international experience in the sector and promote its implementation in the participating countries. Challenges in the agrarian field, principles of teamwork, mastering creative techniques, development of leadership skills, development of ways to resolve conflicts and principles of sustainable development were discussed at the seminars.

The young scientists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture introduced the current processes in the agricultural field of Georgia and the potential of the field to the participants of the workshop. Within the framework of the seminar, excursions to agricultural farms, biogas plant and educational centers were organized.
