The employee of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture participated in the 3rd regional meeting of FAO of Eastern Europe and Central Asia

The 3rd regional meeting of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of Eastern Europe and Central Asia "Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock Development" (GASL) was attended by Giuli Gogol, an employee of the Research Department of Livestock Breeding, Veterinary and Food Production of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.

The meeting was held on the topic "In response to changes, production of multifunctional collaboration for sustainable development of the livestock system".

Giuli Gogol presented the participants with the presentation "The modern state of livestock breeding in Georgia and its sustainable development strategy".

A package of recommendations was developed, which outlines measures to ensure the sustainable development of livestock systems in the face of the negative impact of global warming. More than 45 representatives of scientific-research institutions and non-governmental organizations from 20 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia took part in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yuriy Nesterov, the head of FAO's Central Asia and Eastern Europe Sub-Regional Office.
