A representative of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture attended the meeting held in Romania on the genetic resources of field crop plants

Tamar Jinjikhadze, head of the Division of Standardization, Certification, Planning and Economic Analysis of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, participated in the meeting of the European Evaluation Network on grain legumes group (ForEVA) in Bucharest, Romania. The Georgian side held a presentation on the genetic resources of Georgian field crops.

At the meeting held in Bucharest, attention was paid to the current state of leguminous crops collections in European countries, planning of field trials, development of common standards for evaluation of leguminous crops and creation of the EVA leguminous network.

The meeting organized by the European Cooperative Program for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR) was attended by scientists, breeders and representatives of seed companies from different countries.
