A meeting was held with members of the delegation of Xinjiang Province of the People's Republic of China at the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture

Levan Ujmajuridze, director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, together with the representatives of the relevant services of the center, met with the representatives of the delegation of the Xinjiang province of the People's Republic of China. The delegation was led by Li Wu, Vice Chairman of Changji Prefecture in Xinjiang.

The Chinese side received detailed information about the work, ongoing research and future plans of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture of Georgia. The members of the delegation visited the experimental-demonstrative bases of perennial and annual crops of Jighaura and laboratories equipped with modern technologies.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties defined directions of future cooperation - deepening of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of agriculture and implementation of joint agricultural projects in Georgia.

The members of the delegation of the Xinjiang province of the People's Republic of China are in Georgia within the framework of the exhibition "The 9th Exhibition of Georgia-China Xinjiang Products", which is being held on December 6-8, in the 4th and 5th pavilions of the "Expo Georgia" exhibition center.
