Field training on pruning-forming of grapevines was conducted for students of the Technical University of Georgia at the Jighaura base

Field training on pruning-forming of grapevines was held for the fourth-year students of the agronomy program of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences and Bio-systems Engineering of the Technical University of Georgia at the experimental demonstration base of perennial crops of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.

The training participants got information about the characteristics of grape varieties, the processes of nursery certification and healthy seedling production, vineyard agro-technology, soil selection and the use of the correct rootstock, as well as the right selection of grape varieties for regions and seedling planting rules.

Students also took part in the process of pruning the vineyard.
