In order to evaluate the agro-economic impact of climate change threats, a working meeting was held

A meeting with English expert Professor Joe Morris was held at the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture within the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project "Economic Evaluation of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Measures in the Agricultural Sector".

The meeting defined the format of the research work to be carried out within the project and developed a specific action plan. The discussion touched on the importance of developing methodological issues, identifying priority agricultural crops, and discussing the general framework of mitigation measures.

The working group meeting was attended by employees of the specialized departments of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, local and invited experts of the project. At the end of the meeting, the participants were given the opportunity to receive comprehensive information on issues of interest to them from a foreign expert.
