Students of the Okami Public School in the village of Kaspi Municipality visited the Tsilkani base of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture

The students, under the guidance of the center's specialists, visited the Laboratory of Plant Microclonal (IN VITRO) Propagation and Virus-free Planting Material Research, the Soil Fertility Research Laboratory, the Sericulture Laboratory and the hydroponic greenhouse.

During the meeting, the Center's specialists shared information with the students on issues related to horticulture, soil and plant research. They were introduced to how practical work is carried out in laboratories and the role of research in the development of agriculture.

The students of the school of Okami village are involved in the Kaspi Vocational College program - "Professional Skills Development Course in Horticulture", which aims to promote professional orientation for young people and develop practical knowledge in the agricultural field.

The visit proved to be an important experience for students who are in the process of choosing a profession; they were given the opportunity to see, through practical examples, how modern research works and the great importance of scientific knowledge in the development of horticulture and the agricultural sector as a whole.
