An online seminar on modern agricultural technologies for managing intensive orchards was held

The Fruit Growing Research Service of the Scientific Research Center of Agriculture organized a scientific-practical online seminar on the topic - "Agrotechnological components of intensive orchard management". The seminar was led by the Head of the Center's Fruit Growing Research Service, Professor Zviad Bobokashvili. Within the framework of the meeting, modern approaches to intensive orchard production were discussed, with special attention paid to both new and already proven varieties, which are recommended by the Research Center to farmers taking into account local agroclimatic conditions. The participants received information on the importance of proper orchard planning, including optimal placement schemes for pollinating varieties, which is one of the important prerequisites for increasing fruit quality and yield. The seminar discussed important agrotechnological aspects of intensive orchard management, including progressive pruning-forming approaches, the use of foliar feeding, and other important components of care. Special attention was paid to the correct selection of rootstocks and modern practices of using plant growth regulators, which contribute to the management of physiological processes in the Bli Intensive Garden and a significant improvement in the quality of the fruits grown.
The online seminar was held in an interactive mode and participants had the opportunity to receive comprehensive answers to issues important to them.
