The director of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, Levan Ujmajuridze, together with the guests who came from Lazeti in Tbilisi, pressed out the indigenous variety of the vine - Chkhaveri, in the wine cellar of the Patriarchate, in the Lisi Lake Church, which is under construction.

At the same day, accompanied with the Municipal Office of landscaping, 150 different species of tree saplings were planted here; the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture has planted red local vine varieties bred on the experimental base Jighaura, which was carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Patriarchate of Georgia and Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture (memorandum provides the renovation of the local grape varieties as well as in the church circle and in the society).

At the same day, the director of the Scientific Center of Viticulture and Wine-making together with the director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture worked out a joint future plans in the direction of viticulture and wine-making.
