Seminar for Hazelnut-Producing Farmers

The group of specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture held a seminar on the hazelnut cultivation and modern technologies for farmers in Chokhatauri Municipality. On the seminar, hazelnut-producing farmers get the information concerning actual issues of plant protection, pest diseases of nuts and the modern methods fighting against it. In addition, the specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture familiarize participants with the information on modern organic and mineral fertilizers, minerals containing with drug regulations, as well as nut forming – cutting, cultivation and caring rules, transfer of protection schemes for pests.

During the seminar, the farmers together with the specialists of the Scientific-Research Center, have discussed about the reasons of low yield and poor quality and have agreed about future cooperation.
