Hunan Agricultural Group has carried out reception of farmers

The Hunan Agricultural Group has carried out a reception of farmers at the hotel “Hualing Preference Tbilisi’’ within the framework of the project ‘’Technical cooperation project between Georgia and China’’. The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Iuri Nozadze and by the Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Georgia Wan Lianpo.

During the reception a special attention has given to the results of the project by the representative of the Hunan Agricultural Group and also he has noted in details about achievements through this project. To the gratitude of this project approximately 300 farmers have been retrained on the issues of the cultivation of greenhouse vegetables in Georgia and in China.

The training course was organized by the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and Hunan Agricultural Group with the financial support of the Ministry of trade of China. Within the same project in the village Shulaveri of the Marneuli district, solar greenhouses have been built on the plot (7 big and 25 small greenhouses). On the technological base Georgian farmers periodically are being trained on vegetable growing.

,,Such projects give the chance to the farmers and stakeholders to have the theoretical and practical training in order to get acquainted better with new technologies on cultivation of new vegetables, sharing the existing experience of the Chinese colleagues in this direction. This process promotes not only to rapprochement of our countries, but also the development of greenhouses in different regions of Georgia’’ – said the director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.

The sixth educational has been solemnly opened at the end of the reception.
