Mobile Extension in Shida Kartli

The specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, within the framework of the Mobile Extension Project, informed the farmers about integrated protection of plants, cereal crops, seed-growing, animal breeding and beekeeping directions, in 16 village of Shida Kartli Region. The field specialists looked through farmers’ farms and offered individual recommendations and consultations on the issues they were interested in.

In the first half of 2017, specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, provide the consultation services, within the framework of the Mobile Extension Project, up to 3000 farmers in Mtskheta Mtianeti -14, Kvemo Kartli -27, Shida Kartli -16 and in 22 villages – Kakheti.

It should be noted that in 2016, within the scope of the Extension Program, more than 1200 farmers were trained throughout Georgia.
