Retraining of the employees of information-consulting service continues
The representatives of the information-consultation service of the Ministry of Agriculture were trained on the base of Tsilkani of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.Tsotne Samadashvili, head of the research division of Cereal Crops, introduced the participants of the training the features concerning the process of harvesting the cereal crops at the testing-demonstration base in Tsilkani. He also talked about the effectiveness of the process of various means of feeding from the leaf used during the vegetation period.
With the purpose of determining the advantages of agro technical process, the participants conducted laboratory treatment of the sheaf and plants that were analyzed in field conditions. Based on the data obtained from variant statistics (ANOVA) method, the students are encouraged to provide practical recommendations for farmers in order to increase their productivity through the help of feeding the plants from the leaves.
Retraining Program has already been implemented within the framework of the projects: Restoring efficiency to Agriculture Production (REAP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
