"Field days 2017" was held in Dedoplistskaro

"Field days 2017" was held at the Dedoplistskaro base of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. Within the scope of the event, representatives of the information-consulting services of the Ministry of Agriculture and farmers viewed the experimental plot of cereal crops on the base.

The Research division of Cereal Crops of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture works on the creation and dissemination of intensive wheat varieties. At this stage, 8 prospective varieties of soft wheat are selected for distribution.

Within the "Field days 2017", farmers took direct participation in harvesting. In case of selection of interesting varieties, the Research division of Cereal Crops of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture will provide farmers with seed material.

All new varieties brought out in the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture are durable, resistant to diseases and pests; suitable for mechanized recovery, characterized by high quality and high voltage. It is noteworthy that the highest rate of yield at Dedoplistskaro base has shown the new breed "LG-43" (5, 5 – 5, 7 tons per hectare).

Within the "Field days 2017", Selective Crops’ Combine has been tested, which is a gift of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.
