Bio pond was created in Samegrelo region

The specialists of the scientific-research center of Agriculture started the creation of Bio pond, fry growing of the organic cobra, improvement of their productivity and getting the sustainable generation against the diseases in Rike’s fish farming of Zugdidi municipality, within the scope of the project “selection of local cobra and creation of bio-pond”. The creation of the bio-pond and getting new breeds resistant to disease - is the objective of the project which involves the specialists from the organic farming and livestock breeding, and forage production departments. For the future, the fish farming of Rike will be established as the reproduction of the breeding fries. Recommendations will be prepared for the farmers, interested in bio-faming points.
