The representatives of San Diego University visited Jighaura base

The representatives of San Diego University visited the demonstrative base of perennial crops in Jighaura, at the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and observed the vineyards on the base. The American guests got acquainted with Georgian winemaking and viticulture potential and tasted wines from Georgian rare vineyards.

Within the frames of the visit, the representatives of the University of San Diego met Giga Kvartskhava, the Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences and Agro-Engineering at the Georgian Technical University and talked about future cooperation. The University of San Diego is interested to support the PhD students from Georgian viticulture and winemaking faculty, to study in the USA.
