Farmers were consulted in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region

The meetings with farmers were held in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region within the framework of the joint Project "Mobile Extension" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. The specialists of the Information-Consultation Centers and the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture in the villages of the municipalities informed the locals about the caring and breeding of the cattle, artificial insemination, food, veterinary, infectious and invasive diseases and their prevention, production of safe milk and processing and ,,dambalkhacho’’ technologies.

During the meetings with the farmers, great attention was paid to the biologically clean products, the maintenance of vegetable crops in an open ground and the production of potato.

The project "Mobile Extension" is implemented in whole Georgia since 2016 and its purpose is to support the farmers and provide consultations on the place.

The Meetings will be held on November 19-21 in the villages of Sagarejo, Gurjaani, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta and Telavi municipalities (villages - Giorgitsminda, Kardenakhi, Velistsikhe, Kartubani, Vardisubani, Akhalsopeli, Enzeli, Kvemo Alvani, Maghraani, Pshaveli, Ruispiri).
