The book published by the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture was named as the best fundamental work in the agricultural field

The book, published by the Research Division of Agro-Forestry Cultures of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, ,,inventory of rare arboretum tree species’’, was awarded for the most fundamental, educational and applied work in 2018 in the agrarian sphere in the competition announced by the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Georgia.

The book covers information on the endemic and rare arboretum species spread in Colchic forests of Adjara, which is included in the Red List of Georgian Plants. It contains eight types of complete inventory materials, including maps and details of distribution of these species.

The book contains materials received from the three-year fieldwork that was implemented with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The work is intended for forestry specialists, botanists and students.
