Farmers were consulted in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region

The farmers were consulted in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region within the framework of the Joint Project "Mobile Extension" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the Scientific-Research Cent of Agriculture. The information on the modern technologies for adoption and processing of milk, pruning and formation of apple orchard and berry crops and agro technologies, measures against pest diseases, veterinary-zoo-technical activities and cultivation technologies of greenhouse farming were provided to farmers in Mtskheta, Dusheti and Tianeti municipalities and villages.

The project "Mobile Extension" has been implemented since 2016. Its purpose is to support farmers, provide them with consultations and get acquainted with the latest innovations in the field. In 2019, specialists visited and consulted more than 3,000 farmers in 65 villages of Kakheti, Guria, Shida Kartli and Samegrelo Region.
