"Yalon’s" beneficiaries visited Jighaura base

The pupils of the Saguramo Day Care Center for Children and Persons with Disabilities "Yalon" visited the Jighaura perennial crops’ testing-demonstration base of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. The beneficiaries of the center visited the vineyard and fruit crops’ collection plots planted at the base of Jighaura and got acquainted with the history of wine-growing in Georgia.

"Our friendship has been going on for years and we can't imagine autumn without a visit to Jighaura. Every visit is enjoyable and memorable for our beneficiaries. The purpose of such visits is to involve them in cultural and cognitive events, which significantly contributes to their integration into the society," said Sofio Kupatadze, manager of the "Yalon" Day Care Center's Children Protection Program.

The pupils of "Yalon" took part in the harvest and picking of fruit crops. The visit was carried out by the initiative of the Education Development and Employment Center within the framework of the "State Program for Social Rehabilitation and Child Care".
