The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture deepens cooperation with Telavi State University in scientific direction

The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Telavi State University named after Iakob Gogebashvili. The Memorandum envisages the deepening of cooperation in the direction of scientific research, the organization of joint conferences, seminars and trainings, as well as the internship of students at the test-demonstration and laboratory bases of the center.

,, In our university, agrarian areas have been given due attention for years. Thus, the extension of the Multi-profile memorandum between the Scientific-Research Center and the University brings the existing very fruitful cooperation to a new stage, which will be a precondition of important achievements for the faculty and students,” - mentioned Shalva Chkadua, Rector of Telavi State University named after Iakob Gogebashvili.

"Cooperation with agrarian organizations and higher education institutions in the regions is a priority for the research center. Within the framework of the memorandum, students of all three levels of the university's educational programs will have the opportunity to plan and implement research and improve their professional skills in the experimental-demonstration bases and laboratories of the Center, together with the academic staff, which will contribute to the formation of more young qualified personnel in the region.’’ – mentioned Levan Ujmajuridze, the Director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Levan Ujmajuridze, the Director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, and Shalva Chkadua, the Rector of the University.
