The members of the delegation of MATE University (Hungary) visited the Jighaura base

The members of the delegation of the Hungarian University of Agrarian and Life Sciences (Mate) visited the Jighaura Perennial Crops Experimental-Demonstration Base of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. The delegation was led by the former ambassador of Hungary to Georgia, Victoria Horvath.

The professors of the agrarian department of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences visited the grapevine and fruit tree collections at the base, got acquainted with the activities of the center and tasted wines made from rare Georgian grape varieties at the base.

It should be noted that a multilateral cooperation Memorandum was signed in 2021 between the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The Memorandum also envisages the implementation of joint projects in the directions of scientific research and agricultural education.
