Visit of the Uzbek delegation to the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture

Levan Ujmajuridze, Director of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, together with the heads of the Center's scientific directions, met with representatives of the Academician M. Mirzaev Scientific-Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the issue of deepening cooperation in the fields of viticulture, winemaking and horticulture.

At the meeting, representatives of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the Uzbek Institute discussed their main activities and future plans.

Within the framework of the Uzbek side's visit to Georgia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and Academician M. Mirzaev Scientific-Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Memorandum includes the preparation of joint research projects, organization of training programs, and exchange of scientific and technical information.

As part of their visit to Georgia, representatives of the Uzbek Institute visited the bases of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.
