Another working meeting was held within the framework of a joint project of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

The participants of the meeting discussed methodological and practical issues of determining irrigation water demand. They also discussed simulation models of the impact of climate change on leading agricultural crops such as apples, grapes, wheat, etc.; the simulations were prepared based on various agro-economic approaches.
The working group meeting was attended by employees of the specialized departments of the Scientific- Research Center of Agriculture, as well as local and invited international experts of the project - researchers from Cranfield University (UK) - Joe Morris and Tim Hess.
The event aimed to create a modern model for cost-benefit calculation and evaluation based on climate change impact assessment, which will contribute to the development of sustainable management strategies in agriculture and optimal decision-making.
