Georgia-China cooperation in the field of viticulture and winemaking is deepening

The Director of the Center, Professor Levan Ujmajuridze, introduced the guests to the capabilities, current research, and future plans of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.
"The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture has been connected with Ningxia Province for many years, which is based on research on the protection and propagation of grapevine genetic resources and innovative approaches in viticulture and winemaking within the framework of an official memorandum. Our task is to prepare the ground for future multilateral research projects that will strengthen the technological and scientific dialogue between the two countries, as well as promote the popularization of wines made from Georgian grape varieties on the Chinese market," noted Levan Ujmajuridze.
Chinese colleagues have officially invited the Director of the Center, Levan Ujmajuridze, to participate as a speaker at the International Biennale of Terroir and Wine Culture planned in Ningxia this year. This fact once again emphasizes the partnership between the two countries and clearly confirms the deepening of cooperation.
