Levan Ujmajuridze met with the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Denis Salukvadze

The director of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, Professor Levan Ujmajuridze met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Denis Salukvadze. The specific needs of the region in the agricultural sector were discussed at the meeting. The focus was on strengthening scientific components and improving coordinated work with farmers. The Director of the Center introduced the Minister to the general activities of the Center, as well as the projects implemented in the Adjara region and future plans, including joint research, theoretical and practical trainings, and planned activities to raise awareness among farmers. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture of Adjara Irma Apkhazava and Archil Beridze, as well as the Deputy Director of the Center in Scientific field Nodar Khatiashvili.
