The Students of the Technical University got acquainted with the working process of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture

The lecturers of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences and Chemical Technologies of the Georgian Technical University and students of the agronomic direction visited the Jighaura and Tsilkani bases of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. The students got acquainted with the activities of various directions of the center, visited the laboratory of microcolony (IN VITRO) propagation of plants and virus-free planting material, the laboratory of soil fertility research, the nursery of perennial crops, and the museum space of vine and wine.

During the visit, specialists provided students with information on current issues of soil and plant research, the Center's activities in the preservation and development of Georgian genetic resources, current projects, and future plans.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Georgian Technical University, effective since 2021, students are actively developing their practical skills and deepening their scientific experience. The visit was an important experience for students interested in scientific research.
