Significant results were observed in the direction of Seed and Planting Material Certification in 2025

Significant progress has been observed within the framework of the support of the seed and planting material certification system by the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.

41 certificates were issued for wheat seed material intended for placing on the market, covering 554 tons of certified products.

In the area of perennial crops, about 50 nurseries were granted the status of qualified nurseries and 27 certificates were issued for forest woody species.

Also, according to data from 2019–2025, 109 varieties have been included in the national catalog, including wheat, grapevine, barley and oat crops, which contributes to the development of certified seed and planting material production and the sustainability of the agricultural sector.

The production of certified seeds and planting material is an important prerequisite for increasing the productivity of the agricultural sector and strengthening confidence in the market.
