Summer school was arranged for students

The summer school was organized in the framework of the project ’’Study and Protecting the Genetic Resources of kolkheti Forest’’ funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Within the framework of the program, the representatives of the Agroforestry Research division of the Scientific-Research center of Agriculture conducted practical course, along with theoretical training, for up to 20 students in the Forest of Betania.

On the field training, the students viewed the forests adjacent to Betania and got acquainted with the allocation of sample area, modern methods of forest inventory, visual assessment of the planted forest, methods of setting forest types, non-wooden resources were recorded, identification issues of highly converting forest areas were acquainted
