Mobile Extension in Samtskhe-Javakheti Region

Within the framework of the project ,,Mobile Extension’’, the specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, have consulted farmers in Samtskhe-Javakheti region. The inhabitants of Tsalka, Akhalkhalaki and Ninotsminda villages have been informed about beekeeping, veterinary, horticulture, potato growing and plant protection issues. The specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture visited farmers’ farms, they got acquainted with their problems on the place and helped them to settle.

It should be noted that the project ,,Mobile Extension’’ has been going on for two years already and during this period the specialists have visited almost all regions of Georgia and helped thousands of farmers.

In the first half of 2017, the specialists of Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, within the framework of the project ,,Mobile Extension’’, provided consultation services to 14 farmers in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, to 27 farmers in Kvemo Kartli, to 16 farmers in Shida Kartli, to 22 farmers in kakheti and 15 farmers in Imereti villages.
