Mobile Extension in Samegrelo Region

The specialists provide consultations to indigenous population in the villages of Samegrelo region within the framework of the large-scale, joint project ,,Mobile Extension’’ of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture. Under the project, specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture visited gardens of farmers’ in Abasha, Senaki, Khobi and Zugdidi Municipalities and they informed the interested persons about Brown Marmorated Stink Bug's  control measures, cultivation of crops and methods of combating diseases.

With the purpose to avoid the mass proliferation of Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, the employees of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture and Information-consulting Centers, from 21 to 24 August, will inform farmers on the place and provide consultations concerning methods to fight against pests in the Municipalities of Martvili, Chkhorotsku, Tsalenjikha, Khobi, Senaki and Zugdidi.
