The Farmers of Samegrelo Region were familiarized with the ways of fighting against Brown Marmorated Stink Bug

The specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture within the framework of the large-scale, joint project ,,Mobile Extension’’ give recommendations to the farmers of Samegrelo region concerning the methods of combating against Brown Marmorated Stink Bug. Under the project, specialists of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture visited gardens of farmers’ in Martvili, Chkhorotsku, Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Khobi and Zugdidi Municipalities and informed the local farmers about hazelnut cultivation and cereal crops’ cultivation and regarding the methods of fighting against pests.

The massive project ,,Mobile Extension’’ has been going on for 2 years already. During this period the specialists took almost all regions and offered consultations to thousands of farmers.
